AMM Share | Chrome Theme Álvaro Negredo | Alvaro Negredo is a Spanish striker of Manchester City and the Spain national team.He started his professional career in 2004 upon making the debut for Rayo Vallecano. Negredo proved to be a promising talent and Real Madrid decided to try him out in the reserve squad. During two seasons with the club Alvaro featured in 66 matches and scored 22 goals.Finding it hard to make it to the main Real squad Negredo switched for Almeria and became a top striker for the club with 32 goals in 70 fixtures.In 2009 the forward was lured to Sevilla where he reached his potential amassing 70 goals in 139 matches. One of the most notable of his achievements is winning the Copa del Rey in 2010. During his spell with Sevilla Negredo turned into a prolific striker able to strenghten any top team and in the summer 2013 Manchester City offered £24 million for his signature. Sevilla could not reject such a generous offer.Since 2009 Negredo has been called up to represent the Spain national team.
